I asked the artist, Ms. Kumi Katou, to bring Mint-chan and other characters to life.
The simple little drawing on the far right is mine — my image of Mint-chan that I had been carrying in my heart for 30 years.
From that, she created the most wonderful Mint-chan.
She also drew a baby and a mother (for a collection of sweet conversations between them).
And she even illustrated Rana, our beloved Sheltie boy who once lived with us.
