I sometimes keep in touch with my old friends from my university days.
We belonged to E.S.S.club and we were active girls in a calm girls' university.Most of us are (and were-some of them)English teachers!
Two of us are(and were)English teachers at disabled students' schools,
two are(were) English teachers at high
schools,and another is a professor of English language,one is a medical interpreter in U.S.,and finally one is a full-time homemaker.
I'm glad that all of us are fine health wise and I'm very proud that they are all doing their best keeping a good spirit.
去年夏から大学時代のESS仲間(我が母校ではELASと呼ばれていました)とLINE交換が始まりました。私はこのところご無沙汰していますが、いつも励みに思っています
静かなお嬢さん学校という校風の中クラブ仲間は皆元気いっぱいでした、何をしようかといつも目を輝かせていたように思います
今どういうわけかほぼ全員が英語の先生！
心身に障害のある子らの学校で英語を教えている(いた)人-どんなにか大変なことだろうといつも思います
中学高校の先生、大学の先生、またアメリカで医療通訳をしている人、あるいは専業主婦を真っ当した人。
それぞれが使命を貫いています
